What It Means to Be a People Unleashed
Our vision speaks of a people of God unleashed to transform their world. But what does it actually mean to live unleashed in everyday Australia?
A people unleashed
The theme that shapes our church is a bold one: a people of God unleashed to transform their world. It is drawn from the heart of the gospel, that when the Holy Spirit comes upon ordinary believers, He releases them to do extraordinary things for God.
Unleashed where you are
To be unleashed is not only about big crusades or famous preachers. It is about the nurse who prays for a frightened patient, the student who lives with integrity on campus, the father who leads his family in worship. Wherever God has placed you, that is your mission field.
Unleashed for others
We are not unleashed for ourselves but for the sake of those who do not yet know Christ. As we go about our daily lives, we carry the light of the gospel into every workplace, school, and neighbourhood.
May we be a people who refuse to stay contained, and who let the Spirit of God flow through us to transform the world around us.
