Mission & Vision

Why We Exist, and Where We Are Going

Everything we do flows from a clear purpose and a hope-filled vision — to see lives transformed and communities renewed by the love of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

The purpose that holds us together

We exist to establish responsible and self-sustaining churches filled with committed, Spirit-filled Christians of character, who will impact their communities.

Our Vision

The future we are reaching toward

To become a global Pentecostal church that is culturally relevant in vibrant evangelism, church planting, discipleship, and holistic ministry, raising agents of transformation who possess their world with the values and principles of the Kingdom of God.

Vibrant evangelism

Sharing the good news of Jesus with joy and boldness, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Church planting

Establishing new, healthy assemblies so more people can find a spiritual home.

Discipleship

Walking alongside believers as they grow to be more like Christ, day by day.

Holistic ministry

Caring for the whole person — spirit, soul, and body — and the communities we belong to.

Our Motto

“Possessing the Nations”

More than a slogan, our motto is a calling. It invites every member — wherever they live, work, and serve — to carry the values and principles of the Kingdom of God into their world, and to become an agent of lasting transformation.

How we are led

  • Worldwide: led by a Chairman — currently Apostle Eric Nyamekye — from the international headquarters in Accra, Ghana.

  • In Australia: overseen by a National Head — an ordained Apostle appointed by the international leadership — supported by District Pastors.

Leadership & oversight

A shared vision, faithfully shepherded

The Church of Pentecost Australia is part of The Church of Pentecost worldwide. That global family shares one mission, one vision, and one motto — and our leaders carry it faithfully to Australian soil.

District Pastors care for the local districts and assemblies across the nation, shepherding members, nurturing young leaders, and making sure every community is encouraged, equipped, and cared for.

Be part of the vision

This vision is not for leaders alone — it belongs to every one of us. Come and discover where you fit, and how God might use you to transform your world.
